1 Stamp Set = 3 Card Designs (#1)

The next few days you will see how to take one stamp set and create 3 different looks.

I used the stamp set TRULY GRATEFUL and designed 3 cards, using the same focal point of a circle and a rectangle.

Truly Grateful Day 1

  The base is Pool Party card stock 11″ x 4 ¼” and 3″ x 1 ¼” for the saying.

Soft Suede card stock was cut 3 ¼” x 2 ¼” for the wood grain rectangle, and a square of 2 ¾” x 1″ for the saying.

Very Vanilla card stock was used for the circle cut 2 ¾” x 2 ¾”, inside card 5 ¼” x 4″ and a square of 2 ½” x ¾” for the saying. Stamp the wood grain on Very Vanilla using Summer Starfruit ink pad. I stamped the image on scrap paper first, then onto the very vanilla to give it a light image.

Using the Soft Suede ink, stamp the wood grain image on the Soft Suede card stock. Stamp the wheat stamp on very vanilla Summer Starfruit image. The 2 ½” circle punch was used to cut out the circle.

Using a sponge dauber, I edged the circle in soft suede. Pool party was used lightly on the wheat tops. I love to give the edges an old look when it seems they need to stand out a little more.

I found an old wood ‘Happy Thanksgiving’ stamp and used that for the saying. Twine was used to wrap around the wood grain rectangle which was adhered to the base card. Using dimensions, I popped up the circle and the saying.  Tomorrow see how to make your own background to give the card a new look.
