Very Vanilla, Real Red, Pink Pirouette were the inspirational challenging colors 🙂 These colors scream VALENTINES in my eyes, and the card was due on the 19th, after valentine’s day! My friend Christen Tinsley was my assistant for this challenge, but she would learn I had criteria to follow. I wanted a card whose focus was not a flower, and I did not want to use my usual ‘go to’ stamps. We tried design after design and hit a ‘color block’ stigma. Hearts and flowers kept creeping into our minds! After 5+ attempts, we designed one full card and threw in the ink! Unfortunately, we were really not happy about the card (see blooper below). Later that week I mentioned the color challenge to Christen, and she said “what about the dress die cut’! THAT WAS IT! I could not wait to get my mojo going! I knew exactly in my head what I wanted. So, next time your mojo leaves you…reach out to your fellow stamper for a fresh idea!
THANKS CHRISTEN!
